Annam Moong Dal Chilka (500g) is split mung beans with the skin intact, offering a mild, slightly nutty flavour and a soft, creamy texture after cooking. Because the husk is retained, the dal holds its shape well in dishes while still cooking relatively quickly. It is a convenient ingredient for everyday cooking and works perfectly in dals, soups, curries, and one-pot meals, easily absorbing the flavours of spices, herbs, and vegetables.
