Description
Basmati Extra Long Banno rice is a carefully selected long-grain variety with exceptionally slender grains that elongate during cooking, a delicate, slightly nutty aroma, and a fluffy, light texture. Thanks to its natural “fluffy” texture, it works perfectly in biryani, pulao, and aromatic curries, as well as in elegant side dishes with meats, fish, vegetables, and vegetarian dishes. The grains remain separate and light, making it easy to serve and achieve a restaurant-quality effect on the plate. Preparation method: rinse until the water runs clear, optionally soak for 20–30 minutes; cook in a ratio of about 1:1.5–1.75 (rice: water) on low heat covered for 12–15 minutes, then let it sit for 5–10 minutes and fluff with a fork (in a rice cooker, select the white/basmati rice program). It pairs perfectly with cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, and ghee. Naturally gluten-free and low glycemic index — a great choice for balanced meals (always check the label for cross-allergen information).
